Mission Committee

The Trinity Mission Committee is an open committee that seeks out and evaluates opportunities for mission throughout the local community and the world. By consensus, we make decisions regarding spending mission-designated dollars.

We are now collecting new men's and women's winter gloves (in the box in the upper Parish Hall) to support the Worcester County Fellowship serving the homeless.

Some of the local ministries supported by Trinity include:

  • The Daily Bread Food Pantry
  • The Winterhaven Shelter for the Homeless
  • The New Hope Shelter
  • The Salvation Army
  • Food baskets for Thanksgiving
  • Food baskets and gifts for Christmas

In the wider world, Trinity has contributed to:

We also sponsor Operation Christmas Child, through Samaritan's Purse, sending shoeboxes of gifts and Good News to children around the world.

We sponsor the ongoing Bottles for Mission drive, which sends deposit money collected to local ministries. We are collecting the fronts of used greeting cards to send to St Jude's Ranch for Children, for its Born Again Card program. We also sponsor the annual Parish Ministry Fair, held the fourth Sunday in September.

The Mission Committee meets on the third Sunday of each month, after the 10:00 service, in the Parish Hall. Please contact the church office, (508) 473-8464, for more information.
