Coming Home
The 2023 Trinity Pledge Campaign

Dear Trinity parishioner,

This year’s stewardship theme, Coming Home, feels especially appropriate after so many months of distance gathering. Yet, even as we come together, we are returning to a community that has changed. We have a new rector; we have expanded educational opportunities; worship continues to be both live and virtual; our Community Dinners program has returned in a grab ‘n go format; we continue our financial support of Laundry Love.

In the 2020 Holy Cow survey completed for our rector search, as well as the Renewal Works and Natural Church Development surveys, three areas were identified by parishioners as priorities for making Trinity a more vibrant community:
  • Make necessary changes to attract families with children and youth to our church.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to reach new people and incorporate them into the life of the church.
  • Provide more opportunities for Christian education and spiritual formation at every age and stage of life.
Meeting these goals and maintaining our current programs cannot simply happen. It requires planning and funding with support from as many members of our community as possible.

As we come home to a changed but still familiar Trinity, we need the support of every parishioner to achieve the goals that we have set out for ourselves. To accomplish that, we need you to pledge. The leadership team can’t plan for the coming year without a clear sense of how much funding we will have. If you have pledged in the past, please continue to do so. If you have contributed in the past, without pledging, please reflect on how you can pledge a planned amount for the coming year. If you have never contributed, please consider how you might make a financial contribution this year.
Now that we have a full-time rector again and can expand our programs, continue our ministries, and welcome new members to the Trinity family, we need additional funds. We encourage you to prayerfully reflect on what you have contributed in the past and consider a percentage or dollar amount by which you can increase your pledge for the coming year.

We look forward to the exciting opportunities for Trinity that can be achieved with your support.

Your stewardship team,

Beth Moeller, Lisa Ruggiero, Cindi Scrimgeour, Ginny Starkis
