United Thank OfferingThe United Thank Offering was organized in the early nineteenth century to support the missionary work of the Episcopal Church across the world. Since then, it has evolved to provide funding grants for a variety of needs and programs, internationally and in the United States. Applicants must demonstrate a need for support and a plan for how a UTO grant will be funded and continue to grow after it has been used.
Trinity Church has been a long-time supporter of the United Thank Offering. Each day, many of us give thanks for our blessings by dropping a few coins into a UTO blue box. Those gifts are gathered and celebrated at the annual UTO breakfast. In 2019 our contribution was augmented by an additional gift designated for the UTO Camino Challenge to build an Anglican Center for all pilgrims at the end of El Camino de Santiago in Spain. |
