A Meditation for Palm Sunday & Holy Week
Christ our God, alongside your suffering, you also bear my wounds. I offer you all the grief and worries I carry at this hour: may they be transformed by your love, which is poured out in death for our sakes: Hold us in your embrace as we wait for Easter’s dawn.  Comfort us with the promise that no power on earth, not even death itself, can separate us from your love; and strengthen us to wait until you are revealed to us in your risen glory.                                                                               - from Daily Prayer for All Seasons

Our Easter Egg Hunt is On!
Saturday April 3rd   @ 10am & 10:30 am
This year Trinity Church will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 3, 2021.  Due to Covid guidelines and social distancing, we are asking families to sign up for a time slot.  We want to limit the number of people on the property at one time.  When the time slots below have filled, we will add more if needed.  We are asking families to stay together while hunting and maintain 6 feet.  There is a box at the side entrance of the church for donations of filled eggs. If possible, please wear gloves when you are filling the eggs.  Click here to signup online.  Please contact Beth Moeller or Melanie Figueroa if you would like to help.

GFS Scholarships are available!
Attention high school seniors and their families. It’s time for the annual search for deserving recipients of the GFS Scholarships. Each year, Trinity gives monetary awards to qualified members who are entering an institution of higher education. These awards recognize attendance and service to Trinity Parish during the applicant's high school years. The application is available to download on the Trinity Church website at www.trinitychurchmilford.org. At the home page click Resources- Scholarship -Trinity Episcopal Church GFS to download the form Applications must be received by April 23rd and the recipients will be notified shortly thereafter.  Please direct all questions to GFS Scholarship Committee at gfs@trinitychurchmilford.org.

Heifer International:  For a calendar of giving click here.
Last week we mentioned sheep, this week it is the mighty water buffalo.  The water buffalo is actually called 'the gentle giant'.  A water buffalo allows a farmer to plant more than four times as many crops.  This is due to the water buffalo helping to till the fields instead of the farmer planting by hand; in fact, with a water buffalo a farmer can sow a field in days instead of the weeks it would take to do by hand.   People living in marshland areas around the world depend on these gentle giants.  A water buffalo also provides fertilizer for the crops, and did you know that a water buffalo can produce milk that is high in protein and nutrients?  The water buffalo is an important animal to many!
Please remember during Lent to add a coin to your mite box/container for things you are thankful for!
Thank you. The Mission Committee
