A Prayer for the Beginning of New Ministry God of Love, You are with us in every transition and change. As we enter into this new era with hope and trust in your Spirit we recall your deep compassion, presence, and abounding love. We thank you for the gifts, talents and skills with which you have blessed us. We thank you for the experiences that have brought us to this moment. We thank you for the work of others that gives breadth and depth to our own work. Be with us as we move forward, rejoicing with you and supporting one another. We ask this in your Holy Name. Amen. August Prayer Calendar ![]() Thank you from Mother Judith How wonderful it was to celebrate our ministry together by sharing what we have missed most during the past 16 months – singing hymns and listening to music from different traditions performed beautifully, sharing Holy Communion, and enjoying a grand coffee hour in Murray Hall. I think all of us felt “Trinity is back!” even while we knew how much this year has changed us. It truly has been a blessing to share this year with you, and I have only two regrets: That I did not say “thank you” often enough and that I did not get to know more of you. But I also know that the bonds we formed during this year, closely or at a distance, will continue to shape each of us. Thank you for the generous gifts that you presented to me. I was truly surprised! Beyond the surprise, it meant so much to me that you took such care in choosing these particular “adventures”: How could you know that I support UNICEF as often as I can? How could you know that the Worcester Ecotarium and Southwick Zoo are two of my grandchildren’s favorite places, or that we have talked about visiting the Dr. Seuss Museum? How could you know that I have been meaning to visit the Worcester Art Museum and the Tower Hill Botanical Gardens now that my schedule will be more flexible? I had no idea that your leaders knew me so well. I shall enjoy these adventures, made all the more meaningful by knowing that you will be my companions in Spirit. ![]() Altar Flowers: Summer Now that we are gathering for Holy Eucharist every Sunday, we would like to have fresh flowers at the altar every week.
