Jesus Christ, you left your disciples, only so that you might send the Holy Spirit to be our advocate.  Grant us the Spirit of truth to convince the world that you are risen from the dead.                                                                                                                                                      - The New Zealand Prayer Book

Youth Group Mission Projects for May & June
The Youth Group is seeking donations to support their two mission projects.  They will host tables for families at the Grab n Go meals on May 20th and June 24th.
May 20th:  Summer Play Indoors:
gently used toys, books, games, & movies (VCR or DVDs) and new crafts projects and supplies
June 24th:  Summer Play Outdoors:   flip flops (all sizes for children and adults), sunscreen, and bug spray.
This Sunday is the deadline for the May donations.
There are 2 bins in the side entrance to the church for collecting donations. They will be clearly marked for either May 20th or June 24th.  If you prefer to make a financial contribution, please write your check payable to Trinity Church with "youth group mission" on the memo line.   Please contact Dr. Sarah Prevelige to learn more about how you can participate: drprevelige@gmail.com
We thank our young people for their leadership, vision, and compassion.

The JULIETS
The JULIETS, who have not been meeting due to the pandemic, plan to get together on June 2, at 12:30.  If you would like to join us for lunch at New England Steak and Seafood in Mendon, please let Pat Keppler know: 508 966-0003 or 508 246-9703 or pat_keppler@yahoo.com. This restaurant is indoors but usually not crowded at lunch, and we should be able to reasonably socially distance there. All women from the parish are welcome to join this group. It should be fun!

The Good News Gardens
These smaller plants stayed here at the nursery. They will be given away when they get a little bigger. The youth group collected pails for Good News Gardens then Jon & Charlie turned them into self watering containers. We will transplant the plants when they get bigger and we will help them find new homes and a new gardeners, new people to enjoy and share the harvest. We have about 100 plants here at the nursery.
We already found new homes for about 120 plants. Gardening advice is available if anyone has questions about caring for their new plants.
The National Good News Gardens has created a curriculum for a ten-session course that combines topics of food and faith. We have no solid plans for leading this group at Trinity, Milford, but I am wondering if anyone has questions about it? I am happy to teach if people are interested in the course.  More info to come in the newsletter.
