[Psalm 106:1] The Finance Committee will meet on December 8th to propose a budget based upon our pledges offered by that date. This year, especially, it's important to pledge so that we plan for the increased costs of 2021 and so that the candidates can see that we have a robust Stewardship commitment. The Jesse Tree 2020 There is a Jesse Tree this year but a bit different; the deadlines are earlier as the gifts must be quarantined at the church for two weeks before distribution. As you read this, the deadline for requesting items has passed, and now it is time for fulfilling those requests. Instead of a tree with tags, there will be a Sign-up Genius for parishioners to sign up for the items. When you click on this link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A48ADAD2DABFB6-trinity it will bring you to the signup. Select the item(s), then enter your name and email address (email addresses will not show). You can select more than one item if you wish. If you have any questions regarding the item(s) you sign up to fulfill, please contact Maryellen Yaroshefski ([email protected]). Items should not be wrapped, and they may be dropped off at the church Monday-Thursday 10:30am to 1:00pm. There will be a box at the bottom of the stairs for Jesse Tree items. If you select a gift card, please place it in an envelope and drop it off in the Mission Committee folder outside Mother Judith's office. Please put a note on the item with your name so that the Mission Committee will be able to match up the item from the signup with the family requesting the item. The deadline for dropping off items is 3pm on Saturday, December 5th (there will be someone at the church on December 5th from 9 to 3 to receive items). Thank you - Trinity Mission Committee Creation Care Tip of the Week: Don’t shop till you drop Do I need it? Can the wrapping be recycled? Am I making the best use of what I already have? Can I share from my bounty with others and give rather than acquire? Consider making a gift to a non-profit organization in the name of someone you love.
